Full Job Description
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), with experience of research financial administration in a higher education institution or similar organisation, and a demonstrable ability to work independently; you will also have strong organisational skills, a keen attention to detail, experience of using spreadsheets to manipulate and present data, and proven communication and interpersonal skills.
Oxford Internet Institute - with planned move to Schwarzman Centre in September 2025
The Oxford Internet Institute-founded in 2001-is a multidisciplinary research and teaching department of the University of Oxford, dedicated to the social science of the Internet.
The department seeks to appoint a Research Grants Officer to play a vital role in a busy department, providing high level research administration to the departments academic staff, with a particular focus towards financial administration, monitoring and reporting of all active research grants (post-award stage) as well as aspects of pre-award administration.
This is a permanent, part-time 0.5FTE/30 hours per week role starting Summer 2025. You will be based in Oxford, but there may be the opportunity for occasional remote working as agreed with your line manager.
