Full Job Description

Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to a pending pay award. The final salary will be adjusted in line with the nationally agreed pay award., We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our team at Cenarth Primary School, on a permanent, part-time basis, 3.2 hours per week on Fridays. The role includes:

  • general kitchen duties including washing up equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds
  • aintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen at all times
  • ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards
  • On a day-to-day basis you will:
  • general kitchen duties include washing up equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds
  • setting up the tables and clearing as required
  • recording the temperature of food
  • ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards
  • ensuring EEC standards on Manual Handling
  • general Health and Safety of kitchen including hazardous equipment
