Property Standards & Compliance Coordinator

Salary: £28-34k dependent on skills and experience

Positions: 1 x full-time 40 hours per week

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Property Standards & Compliance Coordinator to join our South-West team.

This is much more than a property role.

Every inspection you complete, every repair you coordinate and every improvement you make helps create safer homes, better living environments and positive outcomes for the people we support.

About the Role

Working across our property portfolio, you will help ensure our homes remain safe, compliant and well maintained.

You’ll coordinate responsive repairs, undertake property inspections, support statutory compliance, monitor contractor performance and maintain accurate property information.

Your work will contribute directly to Derventio Housing Trust’s delivery of the Consumer Standards and our commitment to providing high-quality homes that support people on their pathway to independence.

No two days are the same.

One day you may be inspecting a property, the next coordinating urgent repairs, reviewing contractor performance or identifying opportunities to improve our services.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll:

Inspect our homes and identify repairs and maintenance needs.
Coordinate repairs from initial report through to completion.
Monitor contractor performance and quality.
Support statutory compliance inspections.
Maintain accurate property records.
Help improve property standards across our housing portfolio.
Contribute to continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively to deliver excellent services for residents.

What You’ll Bring

You’ll have experience within housing, property, facilities management or maintenance and be comfortable coordinating multiple priorities.

You’ll communicate confidently with residents, contractors and colleagues, use IT systems effectively and take ownership of your work.

An understanding of property compliance, repairs and housing standards would be advantageous.

Most importantly, you’ll demonstrate professionalism, integrity and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
