Receptionist / Office Assistant

Oxford | Full-time, office-based | £29,000–£32,000

David Fickling Books and The Phoenix Comic are looking for a friendly, proactive and well-organised Receptionist / Office Assistant to join our Oxford office.

As the first point of contact for visitors, callers and deliveries, you’ll play an important part in creating a welcoming and professional environment, while helping to keep the day-to-day running of our busy office organised and efficient.

This is a varied, hands-on role covering reception, general administration and office support. Responsibilities will include managing post and deliveries, coordinating meeting rooms and office supplies, supporting mailouts and events, assisting with facilities and Health & Safety administration, and providing practical support to teams across the business.

We’re looking for someone who is approachable, organised and confident communicating with a range of people. Previous experience working in an office environment is essential, along with confidence using Microsoft Office. You’ll be a self-starter who is happy to take initiative, get stuck in and support wherever needed.
