Lead investigations into any incidents, accidents, or non-conformities, completing all associated reporting and ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed.
Guarantee full adherence to all quality and food safety standards, ensuring team members follow defined manufacturing procedures.
Ensure all production records are completed appropriately, and systems are functioning correctly to support quality audits.
Oversee the clear identification and segregation of non-conforming materials, ensuring the escalation procedure for quality concerns is followed promptly.
Champion and ensure full adherence to 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices.
Communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) so that each employee is aware of expectations and deliverables, and report on performance to the management team.
Act as the primary point of product expertise within the team, responding to operator queries and working positively with support functions.
Liaise and communicate effectively with other departments, such as Production Scheduling and Quality Assurance, to ensure a smooth operational flow.
Consistently promote high standards through personal example, ensuring each team member understands the standards and behaviours expected of them.
Support, comply, and ensure complicity with the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.
