Full Job Description
The Temporary Work Coordinator (TWC) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of temporary works on construction projects. This includes design coordination, compliance, programming, and assurance. The TWC acts as the key liaison between temporary works designers and site teams, ensuring safe and compliant implementation. Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of temporary works activities and help maintain the Temporary Works Register.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing design briefs to ensure alignment with site requirements.
- Help manage design checks, approvals, and the issuing of permits to load/dismantle.
- Support the supervision of erection, use, maintenance, and dismantling of temporary works.
- Contribute to inspections, audits, and change control processes.
- Assist in reviewing contractor or in-house designs and liaising with production and subcontractor teams.
Holds or is working towards a valid TWC CITB Certification (or equivalent) and CSCS card. - Degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Some experience in temporary works on large infrastructure/construction projects.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and grow.
