Full Job Description
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will:
Oversee daily operations of active construction sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, engineers, and suppliers to deliver projects efficiently.
Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain consistent workflow.
Implement and enforce safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and toolbox talks.
Maintain high quality standards through routine checks and adherence to project specifications.
Keep accurate site records, including progress reports, daily logs, and incident reports.
Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Support resource planning and material procurement to ensure project continuity.
Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, issues, and milestones.Professional qualifications
Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor within the construction industry.
Demonstrated success managing large-scale construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control.
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
Proficient with project management tools and MS Office Suite.
Hold SMSTS certification.
Valid UK Driving Licence.
Possess either a EUSR SHEA Power card or a valid CSCS card.Desirable qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
UKPIA experience, particularly within petrol forecourt environments.
Emergency First Aid at Work certification.

The strategically important Site Manager role comes with a salary of £45,000 - £55,000, a comprehensive benefits package including a company van and fuel card, BUPA healthcare, and a structured career progression framework., Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE)
