Full Job Description
RWe are seeking a skilled and versatile CARPENTER/MULTI to join our dynamic team in Thame, United Kingdom. As a key member of our construction and maintenance division, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry work and multi-trade services to our clients.
- Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, installing doors and windows, and building custom fixtures
- Execute various multi-trade responsibilities such as basic plumbing, electrical work, tiling, plastering, and painting
- Carry out repairs, maintenance, and renovation work in residential and commercial properties
- Assess problems and implement practical solutions across different trades
- Collaborate with team members and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide satisfactory solutions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and client expectations
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Proven experience in carpentry and multi-trade work within the construction or building maintenance industry - Proficiency in various construction and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, tiling, plastering, and painting
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find practical solutions across different trades
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and operate tools safely
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry
- Valid UK driving license
- Own set of professional-grade tools
- Vocational training, apprenticeship, or relevant certifications in carpentry (preferred)
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work environments
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting project objectives and deadlines
