We're recruiting an approachable, caring and patient Assistant Support Worker to join our Simpson Day Service, where we support older people and people living with a diagnosis of Dementia. Our aim is to enhance the quality of life of the people that we care for. We work closely with each person in accordance with their needs and preferences. We provide opportunities and support to help them get involved with activities both within the service and the wider community which promote wellbeing and independence. In return you'll enjoy a rewarding role where you'll make a real difference to someone's life. This is a part time position working 20 hours per week, four hours per day Monday to Friday. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.,

• Work with people under the guidance of a Team Leader.
• Oversee the delivery of meals to the centre, checking food quality and delivery temperatures.
• Serving of meals and drinks to people ensuring they meet with known dietary needs and preferences.
• Undertake cleaning duties within the centre to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Assist with the ordering of supplies including stock management.
• Complete all appropriate paperwork accurately, legibly, and timely. Perform all duties in line with Health and Safety requirements.
  
  Approachable, responsive, caring, flexible and patient.
• Organised and self-motivated.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Willing to undertake training and learn new skills.
