Site Assistant 2 x Vacancies
Trinity Fields is a special school for pupils aged between 3 and 19 years, with severe and complex needs. The school provides highly specialist provision on the main school site in Ystrad Mynach, as well as in its 8 satellite classes that are based in mainstream schools. We serve the County Borough of Caerphilly as well as having some pupils from neighbouring authorities. Trinity Fields is highly regarded by parents/carers and professionals alike. There are currently 308 children on roll.
We are committed to providing a highly individualised and inclusive education to all our pupils, with an emphasis upon meeting their individual needs and developing their strengths and interests within a highly supportive and engaging learning environment.
We are a Rights Respecting School. We are firmly committed to the United Nations Conventions of the Rights of the Child. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and flexible individual eager to make a positive impact in our school. You will be responsible for ensuring premises and grounds are kept to high standards, with a varied skill set required.
The post is offered on a full time, permanent basis 37 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year. Hours of duty include the following shift patterns: 6am-2pm and 11am - 7pm which may include evening work/weekend work/annual leave cover.
Grade 4: SCP 5 £24,790
30 days holidays plus Bank Holidays, rising to 34 days after 5 years service. To commence ASAP (pending all employee checks).
Successful applicants will benefit from a full induction programme and ongoing support. You will also have access to our comprehensive continuing professional development programme.
