Summary

We are recruiting Casual Support Workers at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: Zero Hours

Contract Type: Relief/Casual

Location: Trinity Fields School and Resource Centre

We pay an attractive salary of £14.36 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.

Trinity Fields Leisure Services is a Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) registered provision delivering high-quality, play-based out-of-school care for pupils of Trinity Fields School aged 4 to 17 years.

The service supports children and young people with severe and complex learning and physical disabilities across Caerphilly County Borough, operating during school holidays, weekends and evenings.

Candidate Requirements

A formal qualification e.g. in Youth Work, Play Work, Health & Social Care, Child Development or working towards completion of award.

An understanding of the needs of children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and those who may present with behaviours that challenge.

Experience of supporting children and young people with complex needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and behaviours that challenge.
