Full Job Description
County
North Yorkshire
Through the diagnosis of Leeds Rhinos player Rob Burrows with MND, and the fundraising efforts of Kevin Sinfield his former team player and friend, awareness of MND has never been as great and prominant as it is at the current time.
No doubt you will have heard of MND as a result and maybe you are aware of how this devestating disease can affect people.
Would you be able to join us in our fight and help us support those people living and affected by MND?
Can you spare a few hours a week to visit or be in touch with someone who might be housebound, isolated or just wanting to talk to someone about something except MND?
Volunteering as an Association Visitor is extremely rewarding and makes a real difference to the lives of those people that we support.
The role fits around the time that you have to offer, and we dont have a long list of skills that you have to have, moreover we only ask for your time and enthusiasm, the abilty to develop relationships with people, and have a listening ear.
If this sounds like something you could help us with please get in touch, or enquire above right.
