Full Job Description

A well-established, family-run SME based near Carnforth is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Account Manager. The company operates within the creative education sector, supplying high-quality art and educational materials to schools, colleges and universities across the UK. Known for its personalised approach and dedication to supporting creativity in learning, the business offers a collaborative and supportive working environment in a scenic rural location., This position focuses on client retention and relationship management, with a strong emphasis on re-engaging lapsed clients and maintaining high levels of service for existing accounts. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying reasons behind reduced client activity, resolving concerns, and ensuring continued satisfaction. Working closely with internal teams, the Account Manager will help drive long-term client engagement and business growth.,

  • Reconnect with lapsed clients and maintain regular contact with existing accounts
  • Identify and analyse changes in client engagement or spending behaviour
  • Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal departments to deliver excellent service
  • Provide insights on client retention trends and suggest strategies for improvement

    Proven experience in account management, customer success, or a similar client-facing role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm under pressure and focused on solutions
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and working with client data
  • Organised, commercially aware, and proactive
  • Team-oriented with a high level of initiative and empathy

    Salary of £30,000-£35,000 per annum
  • Performance-based bonus scheme
  • Flexibility for both full-time and term-time working arrangements
  • Working hours between 8am and 4pm to suit individual schedules
  • On-site free parking at a safe and picturesque rural location
