Full Job Description
As a Customer Advisor your role will involve receiving inbound calls from candidates who are looking to join the British Army and responding to any enquiries regarding their application processes. This is a full-time role working 37.50 hours per week. Hours of work follow a rota between 8.15am-7.00pm Monday to Friday and a rotated Saturday (approximately 1 in every 8). This is an office based role, working from our offices in Upavon, Wiltshire. What you'll be doing:
- Answering calls from individuals looking to join the British Army
- Responding to online webchat enquiries
- Accurately updating the internal database
- Escalating any problems or issues that may occur
- Responding to candidate questions regarding various stages in the recruitment process
- Supporting team members as and when required
Previous customer service skills - face to face or over the telephone - Good IT skills using Microsoft Office Suite
- Adaptable to in house databases
- Comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently
- Active listening skills with the ability to type key information at the same time
- Must have the flexibility to work a shift pattern, between the hours of 8.15am-7pm
- Empathy and patience Desired - Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Familiarity with army careers, would be an advantage
