Full Job Description

  • Managing a portfolio of Motor Claims up to 100k, offering relevant and accurate information to every customer.
  • Carry out investigation of claims to obtain quantum information in order to make appropriate policy and legal liability decisions.
  • Recommend and action the most appropriate use of the claims management processes including Credit Hire and using current case law to provide a cost-effective settlement.
  • Identify and contribute to improvement in claims processes in order to ensure optimum efficiency and ability to deliver business results.
  • Provide coaching and support to case managers to enhance their skills.
  • Resolve technical and service complaints effectively.
  • Review potentially fraudulent claims to ensure consistent fraud management.

  • Strong experience handling Motor Trade Claims essential (theft, impact, fire, flood, liability resolution, etc.)
  • Motor Trade Property claims experience preferable.
  • Sound negotiation skills and use of tactics in managing claims.
  • Ability to make accurate and pragmatic policy and legal liability decisions.
  • You'll have a natural talent for connecting with people, quick problem-solving ability and positive, can-do attitude.
  • You're a great listener, confident communicating over the phone and using computers.
  • Passionate about working as part of a collaborative team.
  • PC literate, knowledge of claims systems, Word and Excel.
  • As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
