Full Job Description
Network Segregation Migration Controller We are seeking an experienced Network Segregation Event (Migration) Controller to join our dynamic project delivery team. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of telecom infrastructure migrations in line with pre-defined methods of procedure (MOPs). Key Responsibilities: Pre-Migration Planning:
- Raise Change Requests (CRQs) and prepare documentation
- Review and understand the Control Book and associated Method of Procedure
- Coordinate and issue bridge invites to all relevant stakeholders Execution & Coordination:
- Oversee live migration activities, ensuring alignment with the change window
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
- Monitor progress in Real Time, documenting issues, delays, and lessons learned
- Track and report migration status accurately Problem Solving & Risk Management:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during migration using technical bridge resources
- Escalate risks or failed changes to the on-call Project Manager promptly Communication & Reporting:
- Maintain clear communication with all parties throughout the migration
- Update the Control Book with accurate timings and notes to support smooth transitions between teams
- Carry out additional tasks as required to support the project Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in project coordination and change management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities, especially under pressure
- Basic technical knowledge in telecom or network migrations
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
