Full Job Description
As a directorate we are responsible for the delivery of student recruitment targets, ensuring cohesive recruitment strategies and planning from lead generations and attraction, admissions, through to conversion and enrolment.
About the role
The Student Market Research, Insights and Planning team play a critical role in providing data and insights related to the student journey to enable the development of strategies to achieve the university's student recruitment targets. The Student Market Research Officer will be responsible for conducting market research, analysing data and producing reports to inform data-driven decision making,
The role will develop and implement research plans, collaborating with various stakeholders to provide actionable insights that support the development of the university's marketing and student recruitment strategies.
The research will cover academic and cognate areas as well as geographical regions and markets, so some travel will be required.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience, 1. Educated to degree level and/or proven experience in data collection, analysis and reporting.
2. Experience utilising data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel SPSS, Google Analytics) to collate information and produce reports.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills.
5. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to form and maintain excellent relationship with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment and meet challenging deadlines.
7. Able to work on own initiative, able to identify and resolve issues promptly and/or escalating where required.
