Full Job Description
Work ScheduleEnvironmental ConditionsJob DescriptionHow will you make an impactMaintain safety, quality, delivery, and cost in Inbound logistics efficiently.What is required
- Setting and maintaining exceptionally high Quality and Safety standards in the Inbound area
- Ensuring all shipments are received and booked in as planned
- Picking all schedules for production areas daily
- Receiving and accurately resourcing tanker deliveries
- Safely using and maintaining all forklifts and raising maintenance tickets
- Recording and sharing department metrics
- Continuously improving first-time accuracy and reviewing processes to avoid repeated errors
- Cooperating with other departments and being the first point of contact for Inbound logistics questions
- Participating in agreed meetings, activities, and tasks
- Carrying out all work safely and efficiently according to legislation and company procedures
- Maintaining departmental 5S levels to required standards
- Identifying and implementing new processes as needed
- Meeting site targets for stock accuracy with raw materials and packaging
- Completing safety audits and actions to company standards within required timelines
- Reporting incidents, accidents, or near misses timely, and conducting root cause analysis to establish corrective actions
- Developing and implementing training plans to ensure staff competence and flexibility
- Emphasizing quality improvements across all departments
- Embracing and participating in Practical Process Improvements (PPI) initiatives for waste reduction and cost savings
Flexibility to work on a rotating shift pattern, including early, late, and occasional night shifts - Clear and confident communication skills
- Desire to improve processes and sustain improvements
- Willingness to develop and progress within the team and business Experience/Skills and Abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to achieve and encourage others to achieve
- Experience with Cycle count Administration processes
- Driven to complete projects and tasks within set timelines
- Clear communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal
- Positive attitude and demeanor
- Ability to work effectively within a team and with colleagues from other business areas
- Problem-solving skills, including asking necessary questions and compiling answers
- Professional approach when dealing with staff, customers, and key collaborators
- Confident use of computers, especially Microsoft Excel
