Join Our Team as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician!Location: NeathType: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £41,055 per annum, plus Excellent benefits + OT opportunityAre you a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician ready to take on your next challenge? At Calor Gas, we are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join our on-site workshop in Neath, ensuring our fleet of vehicles and trailers is maintained to the highest standard.What You'll Do:As part of our team, you'll:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on our vehicles and trailers.
- Conduct fault analysis and deliver solutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure all work meets strict Health & Safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet deadlines.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a supportive team.
Experience: Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic is essential. - Qualifications: City & Guilds standard in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
- Skills: A deep understanding of vehicle mechanics, electrical systems, and pneumatic components, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Bonus: An HGV C+E licence (Class 1) and ADR certification are preferred, but not mandatory.
- Mindset: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious with excellent communication skills.
