As a Vehicle Mechanic, you'll play a vital role in keeping essential vehicle fleets operational and ready to support defence and national infrastructure. This is a hands-on position where your skills directly contribute to safety, reliability, and mission success. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of equipment and continue to develop your technical expertise in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. Day-to-day, you'll be required to:

Diagnose, inspect, and assess vehicles and associated mechanical or electrical equipment
Service, repair, maintain, and overhaul vehicles to required standards and specifications
Complete job cards, test certificates, and technical documentation accurately
Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are used correctly and managed efficiently
Work in line with customer requirements, regulations, and technical instructions

Demonstrate previous experience in a vehicle mechanic or similar role
Apply knowledge of hydraulics systems
Bring experience from a dealership or local garage environment
Work effectively as part of a team and building strong working relationships
NVQ Level 3 in Service and Repair or equivalent
