Please note that this post requires the successful individual to be based on site a minimum of 2 days per week.Harlow is a district of contrasts and an ideal location to both live and work. Our Housing capital programme for investment work to occupied stock is worth over £51m for 25-26 and is likely to be significant for future years. We are building a team of high calibre professionals and welcome applications from those with drive and experience, who can help us meet the challenge.The role:Harlow Council is looking for two experienced capital delivery project managers to manage the pre-construction phase of its major works programme. The programme will deliver large scale refurbishment and component replacement projects to occupied council homes.Key responsibilities:The pre-construction elements of the role will involve working closely with the Asset Data team to identify priority estates and buildings, co-ordinate site investigations and scope and package the work that will be involved. You will also be required to liaise with the Procurement team to ensure the work is tendered for and finally hand over the project to the delivery team during the pre-start phase.The pre-construction team will build and prepare the programmes of work for the next few years and ensure that projects are fully scoped, cost Commercial team and will work closely with colleagues in the delivery team.The

• You must have demonstrable experience in delivering major works projects in occupied residential buildings, or have managed the detailed planning of such projects
• Previous experience gained within a Local Authority would also be advantageous
• Strong team player who can work at pace and manage multiple workstreams
