Full Job Description

The Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for mechanical design solutions for a wide
range of revenue and capital projects within the Minor and Major Works Team's for
Property Services Group clients. Building types and functions include those for Schools,
Offices, Leisure, Libraries, Social Services, Fire Authorities and other organisations.

The post will assist in developing a strategy to support the Councils Carbon Neutral
agenda, in relation to reducing, and where possible eliminating, carbon emissions
associated with building services installations.

You will have a degree or equivalent qualification in a building services related
discipline, or demonstrable experience of working at the required level for at least 7
years. A working knowledge of CDM/H&S requirements for Construction Industry.
Experienced in the use of CAD techniques, especially Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit (both
from a drafting perspective but also that of the simulation functionality), Bentley
Hevacomp and Open Buildings Designer.
