Full Job Description
Working in the Environmental Services team you will be effectively lead, supervise, plan, organise and deploy employees for all day to day delivery of services in line with the Council's expectations and standards. As a multi disciplined team, this could include street cleansing, grounds maintenance and waste collections.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication and customer care skills and experience of leading and managing people. They will also demonstrate a commitment to delivering high quality customer focused services, providing clean, safe and tidy places to an agreed standard.
You will be involved in a wide range of duties: therefore, you must be able to prioritise tasks, work to tight deadlines, have good IT skills and be confident in relaying instructions to team members. We would like to hear from people with a can-do attitude who are eager to lead and develop the service.
A Basic Level DBS Check will be required for this post
