Full Job Description
We are looking for an Independent Member to sit on the Council's Audit and Risk Assurance Committee to oversee audit and risk activity and financial control measures, including approving the Council's Statement of Accounts each year.
It is essential that you have a strong and recent financial background, such as accounting or financial management, and are interested in ensuring probity in public office.
The successful candidate will receive £50.00 per meeting attended, out of pocket expenses paid and all relevant training required for the role.
