More about your role You will be assisting the regional team in the provision of high-quality open and ground maintenance service to our customers and the users of our open spaces. This role involves a range of landscaping and grounds maintenance duties, including mowing, edging, trimming, planting, and removal of epicormic growth. Responsibilities also include litter picking, applying herbicides or pesticides, maintaining walkways and car parks, snow clearance, and routine equipment checks. The role may occasionally involve hard landscaping tasks, supporting estate improvement projects, and participating in safety and compliance checks to ensure a clean and safe environment.   • Current driving licence essential, ideally with ability to tow. Must be a manual driving licence
  • PA1 and PA6 NPTC Spraying Licence
  • Ideally the post holder will have experience in the provision of similar services
  • Technically competent and have a good working knowledge of estate management issues
  • Work on their own initiative and be able to complete tasks within agreed timescales to required quality standards
  • Work as part of a team, be a confident and competent listener and communicate with colleagues to meet our guiding standards, respecting our customers/colleagues and our estates.
