Summary

Enterprise Support Officer

We are seeking a talented individual to work as part of a city wide Enterprise Development Team. You will support a comprehensive range of initiatives, projects and programmes which contribute towards sustainable economic development through business formation, growth and job creation as presented by the City Plan. You will proactively engage with businesses providing business support, advice and effective signposting to other sources of support ensuring that activity achieves the overall vision and achieves relevant targets/objectives.

The post-holder will act as a Key Account Manager for a number of significant local businesses. You will have a thorough knowledge of Economic Development and Business Support with a strong understanding of the needs of business and drivers of economic development. You will also support investment projects/programmes with a wide range of private and public sector partners, requiring management of numerous contributions from across the Council and partner organisations.
