Office Administrator (Temporary)

Start Date: ASAP
Basic Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 08:00am - 05:00pm, with a 1 hour break

Duration: Minimum 4 weeks, with the potential to become ongoing
Location: Fareham

Role Overview

We're currently recruiting for a temporary Office Administrator to join our Client in Fareham with an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys working in a busy office environment. The role is initially for at least 4 weeks, with the possibility of being extended on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities

Managing incoming emails and telephone calls
Meeting and greeting customers and visitors at reception
Providing excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone
Liaising with customers and internal office teams
Carrying out a range of general administrative duties
Processing paperwork accurately and efficiently
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day office tasks
Responding to customer enquiries and resolving queries where appropriate

Candidate Requirements

Previous office administration experience
Strong customer service and communication skills
Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
Positive, professional, and proactive approach
Ability to use your own initiative and work independently
Well organised with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
Confident answering calls and managing a busy inbox
