Hourly rate of pay £12.21
We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist/Administrator at Picktree Court Care Home in Chester-le-Street. Picktree Court is family run and caters for 62 older persons requiring residential care on the ground floor and first floor, with a further 26 beds on the second floor providing nursing care, all to an exceptionally high standard.
You will be responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors in a professional and friendly manner. You will be responsible for dealing with all types of enquiries as the first point of contact, both face to face and over the telephone.
You will support the Management Team and other staff with a variety of general administrative duties, ensuring daily and weekly tasks are completed in a timely manner. Maintaining confidentiality is crucial to the role. You will be expected to use your initiative and will be happy working independently.
You should have experience of working as a receptionist, including administrative duties and have a good understanding and skill set to operate Microsoft Office packages. Minute-taking experience would be advantageous, as you will occasionally take notes at meetings. Ideally, you will have previous care home experience, but this is not essential.
Please note, as this is a job share role you will be one of two staff covering Monday to Friday, therefore there is a requirement to work additional days to cover holidays from time to time.
Benefits of working for Premier Care Homes include:
- Free training and qualifications
- Free onsite parking
- Pension scheme
- Recommend a Friend payments
- Long service recognition
- Free flu vaccination
Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure.
