Gas Safety Administrator

Location: Newport | Hybrid Working Available After Training
Pay: £13.58 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Assignment length: Temporary Ongoing Assignment

We are currently recruiting for a Gas Safety Administrator to join a busy and supportive Supply Point team based in Newport.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service experience who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and has great attention to detail.

Previous gas industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Interrogating internal systems and industry databases
Issuing customer correspondence and managing queries
Organising engineer site visits and inspections
Processing survey reports and arranging service disconnections
Updating internal and industry systems accurately
Liaising with internal departments and external industry parties including suppliers and shippers
Supporting gas safety regulation processes and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently
Auditing work and providing feedback on errors where required

Skills and Experience Required

Previous administration and customer service experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous but is not essential
Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset
Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
Confident using Microsoft Office and Excel
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexible approach with willingness to learn and develop within the role
