Full Job Description

Support engineering teams: Provide administrative assistance to engineering managers and team members.
Track and report metrics: Monitor and report engineering department budgets and resource utilisation.
Maintain internal systems: Manage and update engineering intranet and SharePoint sites.
Assist with technical documentation: Help in creating, configuring, and maintaining technical documents and reports.
Organise travel and training: Coordinate department travel and maintain training records.
Liaise with customers and engineers: Coordinate customer feedback and ensure non-technical changes are implemented.
Contribute to company communications: Assist with the creation and publication of company-wide communications and reports., Alongside your day role, you will work to complete your apprenticeship with your external training provider, Inspiro. This will give you the knowledge, training and external approval to do your job effectively.

Qualifications required

5 x GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent, including Mathematics and English., Be at least 16 years old when the apprenticeship begins.
Have the right to work in the UK.
Have been a UK/EU/EAA resident for at least the past three years prior to starting the apprenticeship.
Have completed full-time education before the apprenticeship is due to start.

Skills required
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint, with advanced document template development skills.
Experience with Power BI for creating reports, graphs, and tables is a plus.
Strong communication, administration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Experience with databases, MS Teams, and Microsoft Project Server is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Flexible, customer-focused, and collaborative approach to work.
Proven ability to improve processes and encourage team improvements.
