Admin Assistant
Location: Newport
Pay Rate: £14.06 per hour
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Assignment length: Temporary, ongoing

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Admin Assistant to join our client based in Newport on a temporary ongoing basis.

The role will involve a combination of general administration and customer service, including communicating with customers and other contacts over the phone. You will need to be confident speaking to people on the telephone, taking incoming calls and making outgoing calls when required.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out a range of general administrative duties
Handle incoming telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries
Make outgoing calls to customers and other contacts when required
Provide a professional and helpful level of customer service
Update and maintain accurate records and information on internal systems
Process administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
Respond to queries and provide appropriate information or pass enquiries to the relevant team
Manage emails and other day to day correspondence
Follow internal processes and procedures
Work effectively as part of a wider team while also managing individual tasks

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner
Confident speaking to people over the telephone
Comfortable making and receiving telephone calls
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems
Able to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
