Full Job Description
- VAT Compliance: Take ownership of the VAT return calculation and preparation process, including quarterly Partial Exemption, Annual Adjustment, and CGS calculations.
- Documentation Management: Update and maintain VAT invoice logs and procedural documentation.
- Technology Implementation: Play a key role in using and implementing technology (e.g., Alteryx, Power Query, Power BI) to enhance VAT/Tax processes.
- HMRC Correspondence: Assist with correspondence and meetings with HM Revenue & Customs, including handling information requests and audits.
- Tax Support: Provide support to Directors and VPs on advisory transactions and special projects.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Address ad hoc questions from internal and external stakeholders.
- Direct Tax Compliance: Involve in compliance computation cycles for Direct Taxes (Corporation tax, Bank Levy, and Group reporting)., Working knowledge and experience of UK VAT compliance, advanced Excel skills.
