Cummins Mellor are working exclusively with a highly successful and well-established business to recruit a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk for an initial 12-week assignment. You'll be joining a supportive team environment where you'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger process.,

Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
Matching, batching and coding invoices
Supplier statement reconciliations
Resolving supplier queries and investigating discrepancies
Managing outstanding purchase orders and following up approvals
Supporting weekly payment runs
Credit card and expense reconciliations
Producing reconciliation reports and assisting with finance administration
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Experience reconciling supplier accounts and resolving queries
Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
Good Excel and finance systems knowledge
Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
