Full Job Description
· Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems to ensure compliance with the company policies and fiscal requirements.
· Lead, mentor and develop the accounting team (2-3 direct reports), foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
· Deliver timely and accurate month-end and year-end closes, statutory accounts, and tax filings.
· Conduct monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and ensure integrity of financial reporting.
· Manage cashflow in coordination with the Subsidiary Controller.
· Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
· Optimize financial processes, implement best practices, and drive automation to improve efficiency. Execute other administrative tasks e.g. corporate card administration, statistical surveys
· Recognized accounting qualification ACCA or equivalent is required,
· Proven post-qualification experience in accounting, with the ability to operate confidently in complex environments, ideally including international exposure,
· Experienced user of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills,
· Working knowledge of the UK tax compliance regulations and reporting,
· People management experience and very good interpersonal skills,
· Strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work accurately within strict deadlines, Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
