You will be required to work alongside the Manger to confirm daily registers are correct and updated, and to confirm the correct fees are being paid monthly.

To ensure fees and workplace vouchers are collected, correct and are made on time from parents.

To liaise with Bexley Council re funding applications, head counts and eligibility codes monthly/termly.

Liaise with the Director to issue any refunds following reconciliation of a parent account.

Check payments received are correct via bank statements s/o and Bacs payments vouchers

Claiming and checking funding payments from Bexley Council for eligible children

To complete monthly audits and account reports as required by the local authority, including SEND forms.

To prepare and assist with any other reports or record keeping that is required by the Director and/or Manager.

This position is office based and is a part time position, working mornings 6hrs per week 9.30am-12.30 or 10-1pm every Tuesday and Wednesday. These hours may possibly increase as the role expands.

You will need to have experience using word, excel, sage accounts and general office and accounts administration, invoicing.

This is a varied role that will see you taking responsibility for basic office management ie filing, answering emails, reconciling accounts and credit control.

The role requires excellent organisation communication and accuracy skills, working closely with the Nursery Manager, Room Leaders, Director, Accountant, outside agencies and parents in a confidential and professional manner., Administration: 2 years (preferred)
