The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients., The post-holder will strive to maintain quality within the practice, and will:

Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the teams performance
Work effectively with individuals in other agencies to meet patients needs
Effectively manage own time, workload and resources.
Assess own performance and take accountability for own actions, either directly or under supervision

We are a large, friendly, dedicated practice with a determination to provide high quality clinical care for our patients, at the same time we are highly committed to looking after our doctors as well. Due to retirement an opportunity has arisen to join our friendly forward thinking practice. We are situated in North East Wales on the Welsh/English border. There are good connections to nearby cities with the historical city of Chester being only 5 miles away. There are also excellent schooling options in the local area. We have a list size of approx 9500 patients and deliver our GMS contract over 3 sites. Our main site is Hawarden Health Centre with branch sites in Saltney and Buckley. Hawarden is located 6.7 miles from Chester and is 4 miles from the English border, we are close to motorway links giving direct access to Liverpool and Manchester
