Carry out routine visual safety checks of the minibus prior to each journey, including checking tyre condition and pressure, fuel levels, lights and general roadworthiness.
Drive the minibus safely and responsibly at all times, ensuring full compliance with road traffic legislation and College policies and procedures.
Ensure the safety, welfare and comfort of students and staff whilst travelling on College transport.
Liaise with relevant academic and support staff to confirm transport arrangements, collection/drop-off times and student numbers.
Transport students to and from pre-arranged locations in a safe, punctual and professional manner
Promptly report any vehicle defects, incidents, accidents or concerns to the appropriate member of staff.
Undertake all duties in accordance with College safeguarding policies, procedures and protocols
Remain aware of, and comply with, child protection and safeguarding requirements when working with young people

Full and 'clean' UK driving licence held for a minimum of 5 years
Category D1 (Minibus) PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) driving licence
Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Operator's Licence
Experience of driving minibuses/large vehicles
Excellent timekeeping and reliability
Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
Ability to maintain accurate vehicle records
