We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Apprentice ICT Technician to join our ICT Team and gain valuable hands-on experience supporting ICT services across the Academy. A reliable individual who is willing to learn with an interest in understanding how computer networks, systems and equipment work.,

Support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school network.
Assist with maintaining network servers, including software installation, operating system management, fault diagnosis and backups.
Help maintain network infrastructure, including switches, access points and routers.
Provide friendly technical support and guidance to students and staff with logging in, email and applications.
Help create and maintain help sheets, asset registers and technical documentation.
Assist with the creation, maintenance and management of staff and student user accounts.
Keep computer rooms tidy and ensure equipment is maintained in line with health and safety requirements.
Keep up to date with software releases, patches and emerging technologies.
Achievement of a Level 3 IT Apprenticeship.
Gain practical, hands-on experience in a school ICT environment.
Develop knowledge of networks, servers, hardware, software and IT support.
Build a portfolio of evidence and valuable workplace experience.
Receive support and training from experienced ICT professionals.
