As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent. You will supervise whole classes, deliver pre-prepared work and ensure that pupils remain engaged, focused and well behaved throughout the lesson.,

Supervise classes in the absence of their usual teacher.
Deliver lessons and activities using work and resources provided by teaching staff.
Ensure pupils remain engaged with their learning and complete the work set.
Maintain a positive, calm and purposeful learning environment.
Manage behaviour in line with the school's policies and procedures.
Provide appropriate support and encouragement to pupils.
Report any issues, concerns or incidents to the relevant member of staff.
Support the wider life of the school and contribute positively to the school community.
Promote and uphold the school's safeguarding and behaviour expectations at all times
