Full Job Description

Aston Martin Lagonda is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our Gaydon site. This is a rotating three-shift role-week of earlies, week of lates, and week of nights-supporting the day-to-day running and long-term reliability of our manufacturing operations.

You'll be part of a close-knit team driving the success of our production line while working autonomously when needed. Every day brings new challenges, so you'll need to be flexible, quick to learn, and ready to respond to unexpected faults or breakdowns. No two days are the same, and that's exactly what makes it rewarding.

We're looking for someone with a strong electrical bias and solid experience in fault finding on manufacturing machinery-from PLCs and motors to sensors, gearboxes, and pneumatics. Ideally, you'll have worked in the automotive industry and hold a City & Guilds qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. A time-served apprenticeship is essential, along with working knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, ECPL, and lean manufacturing practices.

You'll need to operate comfortably using a tablet, as all work is logged digitally, and be proficient with Microsoft Office tools. Being a confident communicator, a strong team player, and having the initiative to take ownership will make you an ideal fit.

You'll find genuine satisfaction in knowing your work plays a direct role in delivering world-class vehicles. With constantly evolving tasks the role promises both challenge and variety. You'll collaborate closely with a dedicated manufacturing team, sharing a common purpose and pride in every car that leaves the line.
