Introduction

As an Early Years Apprentice, you will work with practitioners to support children’s care, learning and development. You will help provide a safe, nurturing environment, assist with play activities, support routines, build relationships with children and families, and develop your skills while completing the apprenticeship.

About the Employer

Sapphire Minton Nursery is a new early years setting in Stoke-on-Trent, providing a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment for young children. The nursery supports children’s learning and development through play-based activities, daily routines and individualised support, helping children build confidence, independence and positive relationships.

What You'll Do

Support the care, learning and development of children aged 0-5.
Provide a safe, secure, inclusive and stimulating environment.
Support play-based activities and children’s daily routines.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
Observe and support children’s development, progress and individual needs.
Assist with children’s daily routines, including meals, personal care and sleep routines.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures.

Training Outcome

There may be an opportunity for a permanent position on successful completion of your apprenticeship.
