Introduction

The apprentice would support cyclical finance activity.

The apprentice will spend approximately 20% of their time studying and 80% in role. The apprenticeship is likely to suit either a school leaver starting at AAT Level 3 or someone with relevant finance experience or AAT Level 3 already completed who could start at Level 4.

What You'll Do

Here are a few examples of what you could be involved with:

Provide support to the Gamma Business finance team in the preparation of the monthly management accounts.

This will include:

Preparation of month end journals for accruals and prepayments
Intercompany reconciliations
Maintaining fixed asset register
Updating monthly forex rates
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

In addition, you will also be involved in:

Operational expenditure reporting (OPEX)
Assisting with the year end and half year audits

Training Outcome

Everything is dependent on performance and business need. There could be an opportunity to study AAT4 or even ACCA/Level 7 in the longer term.

Working Arrangements

Working Week: The role will follow the team’s hybrid working pattern, with three office days per week, core office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, although you may be required to attend the office more initially. Our standard working hours are 9:00- 17:30
