Introduction

Support pupils with special educational needs in a primary school, assisting with learning, behaviour, and personal development under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). Two positions available, one based on our reception/EYFS provision and one to work with children in Key Stage 2.

What You'll Do

Day-to-Day Activities:

Preparing and adapting learning resources
Supporting pupils during lessons, playtimes, and transitions
Helping pupils access all aspects of the curriculum
Providing personal care support if needed (e.g. toileting, feeding, or mobility)
Encouraging social interaction with peers
Supporting inclusive activities both in and out of the classroom
Updating communication logs and behaviour records
