Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
Build and maintain disaster recovery and failover strategies to ensure business continuity
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi, with Terraform or similar also acceptable
Ensure infrastructure is version-controlled, reusable, and aligned with best practices
Maintain and enhance existing pipelines in Azure DevOps
Design and implement modern CI/CD workflows to improve build, test, and deployment processes
Evaluate and lead potential migration to more mature or scalable tooling platforms
Integrate security practices into all stages of the development and deployment lifecycle
Manage and optimise vulnerability scanning tools and processes
Analyse and prioritise security findings, working with teams to remediate risks
Act as the primary liaison for external penetration testing providers and internal stakeholders

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Pulumi and ideally with C#
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, including Azure DevOps and at least one other such as Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, or Octopus Deploy
Solid understanding of cloud security principles and DevSecOps practices
Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes
Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and implementation
Experience migrating CI/CD platforms or modernising build systems
Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
Understanding of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2
Experience and understanding of the evolving use of AI in this area and how to apply it
