About Zero Procure

Join Zero Procure and help shape the future of hospitality procurement. Zero Procure is a specialist procurement partner supporting some of the UK's leading hotels, restaurants, gastro pubs, and private members' clubs. As part of Foodbuy Group, the UK's largest Group Purchasing Organisation, we combine extensive purchasing power and supply-chain capability with specialist hospitality expertise and strong client relationships. We help hospitality operators reduce costs, improve efficiencies, and achieve measurable savings without compromising on quality or service.

As demand for our services continues to grow, we're looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to help us build new relationships and accelerate our growth across the UK.

The Opportunity

This is a new-business-focused role for someone who enjoys opening doors, developing relationships, and closing deals. You will take ownership of the complete sales journey, from identifying prospects and starting conversations through to presenting proposals, negotiating agreements, supporting onboarding, and developing successful long-term client relationships. You will be selling a service that delivers genuine commercial value, helping hospitality businesses overcome procurement challenges while accessing competitive pricing, expert support, and a reliable supply chain.

If you're driven by results, thrive on achieving targets, and want an uncapped earning opportunity with the backing of an established procurement group, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Winning new business across the UK hospitality sector

Building and managing a healthy pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and self-generated leads

Taking ownership of the full sales cycle, from initial contact through to negotiation, closing, and onboarding

Building relationships with business owners, Managing Directors, Finance Directors, General Managers, and other senior decision-makers

Understanding prospective clients' commercial challenges and presenting tailored procurement solutions

Delivering persuasive presentations, proposals, and commercial pitches

Identifying new markets, prospects, and revenue opportunities

Maintaining accurate pipeline and activity information within the CRM

Working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver a smooth client onboarding experience

Consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets

What We're Looking For

You'll be a confident and resilient sales professional who is comfortable generating your own opportunities and asking for the business.

You'll know how to start meaningful commercial conversations, uncover client needs, overcome objections, and convert prospects into successful long-term partnerships.

Proven success in business development or B2B sales

Experience selling services, preferably within hospitality, procurement, foodservice, or a related sector

A consistent record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

Confidence engaging and influencing senior decision-makers

The ability to develop compelling commercial proposals and presentations

A proactive, self-motivated, and results-focused approach

Excellent organisation and pipeline management skills

The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

What We Offer

£50,000 basic salary

Uncapped commission, rewarding the results you deliver

Remote and flexible working, with the freedom to manage your own territory

The opportunity to represent Zero Procure as part of the established Foodbuy Group

Genuine career development and progression opportunities

The chance to work with some of the UK's best-known hospitality businesses

A supportive, ambitious environment where your contribution will have a visible impact

If you're motivated by winning new business, enjoy building senior-level relationships, and want to be rewarded for your success, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career with an ambitious business operating at the heart of the UK hospitality sector.
