Helping move opportunities from enquiry to confirmed project, Responsible for understanding the scope of proposed works and producing accurate, competitive quotations.This may include:
Reviewing drawings and specifications
Carrying out site surveys
Taking measurements and quantities
Preparing material and labour costs
Obtaining supplier and subcontractor prices
Producing detailed quotations
Identifying exclusions, risks and potential variations
Working closely with Sales, Project Management and Procurement
Reviewing construction drawings
Producing or coordinating layouts
Developing technical details
Checking dimensions and specifications
Coordinating design information with site teams
Identifying potential construction issues before work begins, Taking responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to completion.Responsibilities may include:
Planning and programming works
Coordinating labour, subcontractors and suppliers
Monitoring costs and progress
Managing client communication
Resolving project issues
Managing variations
Maintaining quality and programme
Driving projects towards successful completion and handover
Coordinating trades and operatives
Organising daily works

Working with the Project Manager to keep the project on programme
