Introduction

We are looking to recruit a new member to join our pharmacy family in our innovative small team of qualified professionals, as an apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to a higher-level qualification such as the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician.

About the Employer

We are a small, independent pharmacy based in Hudderfield and support local residents with their healthcare requirements. We have a small team, looking to support someone to develop a career in pharmacy.

What You'll Do

Dispensing of medication to patients
Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication
Check and monitor prescription slips
Health & safety responsibility
Rotation of stock
Use of patient record systems and use of smart card
Data entry relating to medication
Labelling and dispensing
Accuracy and attention to detail
Working within a team environment
Liaison with doctors, surgery and health professionals
Completion of apprenticeship work on time
