Distag are looking for an ambitious apprentice to join their team in a Purchasing Administration role.

About the Employer

Distag QCS (UK) Ltd is a well-established manufacturer, importer, and distributor of engineering components, primarily serving the agricultural and industrial machinery sectors across the UK and Ireland.

What You'll Do

Assist Procurement Specialists in creating reports for ordering and monitoring purposes.

Carry out the relevant system processes in relation to purchasing functions, including processing stock once it has left suppliers and is in transit, receiving stock in on delivery and invoicing.

Liaise with the Sales Team in relation to backorder enquiries, assist with quotations and orders to provide pricing and lead times.

Assist with product creation on our MRP system and maintaining product data validations.

Assist in managing the stock levels across our locations, arranging for stock to be transferred as appropriate.

Supporting other members of the team and assisting with other tasks as required.
