To create high quality session plans, demonstrating effective differentiation to meet diverse students' needs.
To act as a personal tutor to small groups of students, supporting them to achieve EHCP outcomes related to independent living skills, personal resilience and engagement in learning.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with all college colleagues in care and education, aiming to expand the horizons and improve the skills of young people.
Delivering education with therapeutic approaches whilst incorporating opportunities for staff and students to experience the fun side of life.
Ensure a high standard of classroom environments and display to provide a stimulating and challenging environment.
Maintain a high standard of education in accordance with the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF) and the college intent.
Recognise, value and raise the achievement of students by ambitious goal setting and approaches.
Implement and develop individual Education Plans (IEPs) effectively, ensuring that specific targets and approaches prescribed are used.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, achievement, attendance and any other information that may inform termly progress reports or Multi-Disciplinary meetings.

Post-Graduate Certificate in Education
Degree in relevant subject (transferable to the college curriculum)
At least 1 years experience as a qualified teacher.
Knowledge and understanding of Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF)
