About the Employer

My client is a Chartered Financial Planning Firm with a Discretionary Asset Management and Tax planning arm. Working in a small office environment for a growing business, this is an exciting and varied role working within the accounts department to support and assist the accounts team across a broad range of accounting and administration duties. They are now looking for an apprentice to join their friendly team in Northampton.

What You'll Do

Posting invoices, credit notes, bank payments and receipts on QuickBooks
Checking and reconciling supplier statements and resolving any queries
Recording commission received onto clients’ accounts on Intelligent Office
Chasing outstanding commissions with providers
Corresponding with HMRC to resolve client related queries
Assisting with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns
Liaising with other departments to achieve accounts department objectives
Supporting the accounts department with ad-hoc administration when required
Filing and general admin

This role will be supported by Starting Offs AAT Level 3 qualification.
